Hi! I'm Mr. Mitchell and I love to teach science. :) As the science coordinator of ASD's elementary school, I get to work with all the elementary school students and teachers- that's a lot of people! Sometimes you will find me teaching in the Little Lab or the Large Lab, and sometimes I may even visit your classroom to see what you're learning there!
Before I came to ASD, I used to teach upper elementary science at this school. Before that I was a student myself! I learned about engineering in college here, and then got my Master's in science education here. And I still learn new things every day. :)
When I'm not at school, I like to read books, play sports, and play all sorts of games. Most of all, I like to spend time with my family. I have a wife named Jocelyn and a new baby boy named Graham. He loves to explore everything- who knows, maybe he'll be a scientist someday!
